1,000 iPhone applications are gone from the App store amid allegations that the developer behind them planted positive reviews about its products.
Molinker is the company is responsible for a vast number of applications which are mostly .99 many of them travel guides receiving rave reviews from users while being very poorly written.
The authenticity of those reviews surfaced this weekend, when British blogger Glyn Evans of iphoneography wrote about the fact that a large number were extremely positive, poorly written and by users who seemed only to review Molinker applications. Shortly after that news was posted, the company’s applications appeared to be pulled from the store pending investigation.
These applications are sound like something Iphone users need to avoid.
